Everyday activities is the question that I want to do as I have a very big interest in this area and I feel like it will show the best of my photography more than any of the other questions would. I also had a very big interest in Robert Doisneaus work as he recorded a lot of photos numerous topics raining from women to shops and traders. I have created my mind map with a lot of ideas that I have achieved from researching Robert Doisneaus work because his work is very easy to re-create or use as an inspiration as its everyday. So I have created a lot of ideas from just using London as a base and i thought of every everyday activity I could think of like the commuters you see and the tourist activities like visiting the London eye. I want to shoot mainly in London as I think it will be easy to get all of the ideas I have stated and I will get a diverse selection of photographs not just the same thing. I feel like using the ideas on this mind map will achieve the best of my photography as I have already had experience with street photography and capturing candids but they still look good and professional. For my other idea like Robert Doisneaus had observed I thought I would do everyday activities carried out by women, I fought out would be interesting as depending on the woman they can have a lot of everyday activities do as they have been made responsible for them, for example the domestic labour, childcare and emotional care of their family. So I thought it would be an interesting area to look into and photograph. So overall I have chosen to do everyday activities as i will be able to do a number of various topics within everyday life from a diverse range of people, which will then give me a more varied photography background and more experience with street photography. The main topic that i would like to photograph is children within everyday life, because i have a 2 year old brother so it will be interesting to take photographs of the everyday activities that he carries pout and just life from his perspective. Also i would take photographs of my family doing everyday activties because of my brother, so like my mum cleaning his clothes or feeding him. My inspiration to capture my brothers everyday life has come from Colie James who takes photographs of families carrying out everyday activities like shopping, or photographs of her daughter playing with her toys.
Mind map for documenting contemporary life-

For documenting contemporary life I would photograph the current social issues going on world wide but i could easily find them within London as its a very culturally diverse city so it usually has a lot of the world wide issues within it. So with contemporary issues I thought of Racism as its still an ongoing issue but some people are just choosing to ignore it, especially the media with certain groups or people just ten to believe that its non-existent within our era. So I thought of topics like brexit and Donald trump protests that are currently happening in London, also lot of institutional racism within the police. I would find it very interesting to document these current events as everywhere you look you can find it. I also thought of sexism as that is also still an ongoing social issue that many people have forgot to about of think that women have achieved equality within society, eve though they haven't, especially with sexual discrimination in the workplace and unequal pay for the same exact thing. So for documenting contemporary life I would base my ideas around these two social issues as personally I think they are two of the most important issues.
